In her first 2.5 months of life our sweet Zoey has...


*Flown on an airplane - 6 times!! And slept all but one time.

*Traveled to Texas (of course), Florida, Phoenix (just the airport), and California.

*Rolled over, many times

*Spent the night with Nana & Grandpa, Mimi & PaPa, and Uncle Luke & Aunt Pam

*Gone swimming, in the pool. And put her toes in the Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Ocean.

*Eaten at more restaurants than I could ever list. Maybe 50? Plus or minus?? Hey, we were out of town for 3 weeks!!

*Shopped with momma at First Colony mall, Deerbrook Mall, and The Woodlands mall. And in Cali at Horton Plaza, Fashion Valley, UTC and Bonita!!! So super fun!!

*Had fun at Sea World in California, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wildlife Park, a California Winery, tons of parks, The USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, Old Town San Diego

*Saw Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Laguna Beach, Beverly Hills and more!!

*Loves to go to StrollerFit with momma

*Visited PePaw in Freeport

*Gone to 3 different churches (ours, California, and VBS at Mimi's church)

*Attended Mandy & Dillon's wedding!!


.......and sooo much more. We love our precious angel!!

Are You Ready for Some FOOTBALL???

Saturday night I went to my first NFL game. Texans vs. Cowboys and we (the Texans) won!! I was impressed. Josh and I had a great time (our awesome seats kept us entertained) and we are glad that Zoey got to have a fun night too (with her Aunt Pam, Uncle Luke, and cousins Kaden and Kyler).

Zoey's Here!!!

We were blessed beyond belief at 8:46pm on Friday, June 11th. God gave us a beautiful 8lb.9oz. baby girl and we are head over heels for her.

The Plan

Well, Zoey still hasn't made her debut. Therefore, I am scheduled to go in to the hospital at 7pm tomorrow evening. I will be given medicine to "start the process" overnight and then Dr. Thompson will come in bright and early Friday morning to start the Pitocin (officially begin induction). And we will go from there! I am excited but I think it still hasn't completely sunk in that I will be holding my little girl so soon!!

I FINALLY put the videos from the video camera we got for Christmas on my computer (mostly b/c I just now figured out how).

This video was filmed by Josh at the beach in Florida this Christmas. I think it's hilarious, but then again I might be bias ; )

Any day??

Well, nothing too exciting to report today. We have a doctor appointment in the morning and the doctor will decide then when to schedule my induction. (She won't let me go past Friday b/c that would be over a week after my due date) So luckily it won't be too much longer. However at this point every day seems pretty long!

I have been having some pretty bad backaches, but yesterday I could tell that "things" were happening. Bad backache, nauseaous, headache, really bad stomach cramps-like i was getting stabbed, mild contractions (?), so sore I could barely walk (so we went to the mall and best buy to walk around, lol. I don't like being still!) I also think my lips are swollen, but I could just be crazy : P

We'll see what happens tomorrow!!

No Zoey yet. But we are keeping busy!! Lots and lots of swimming, hanging out with family and just stayin' active. I heard that eating pineapple can induce labor, so I have been having a craving for some ; )

39 weeks (a few days ago)

Saw the doctor today and I am .5 cm dilated. Not much, but it's something! She said it could be tonight...or she would let me go a week past my due date. YUCK!!! Next wednesday before my appointment she is sending me to the hospital for an ultrasound. They will see if it is okay for Zoey to stay in her little home for another week or if I need to be induced sooner. So hopefully she will decide to come on her own....and soon!!

Cruisin'

Lately I have really been wanting to go on a cruise to Mexico...or a flight to the Caribbean. Pretty much any wonderful, relaxing beach location. It is just so close to full-blown summer time and I loooove the beach. However I can't go, so of course that makes me want to go even more, right? : ) It just sounds so relaxing...

Not Yet

We had our doctor's appointment today. No big change. Zoey's head is really low but I haven't made much progress in dilating. Of course I am so so so excited about having my baby in my arms, but I also feel like I still have so much to do before she arrives!! But I'm sure I will probably feel that way no matter how much I get done! Such is life : )

37.5 Weeks...

It's getting so close!! Only a few more weeks (or less??) and we will have our sweet little Zoey in our arms. Hopefully everything will be ready for her! I'm working hard to get all of her new stuff washed, organized and such.

We go for our weekly check-up on Wednesday. We'll see what she says....

Well, hello

Okay, I promise I will update soon.

Quick summary since the last time I wrote:
-Disney was super fun
-Got sick right after Disney and ended up in the hospital for 4 days
-We have planted tons of veggies and flowers and pretties around the house outside. Fun!
-Last weekend we took our "Fast Track to Prepared Childbirth" class. This Sunday evening we are signed up for Infant CPR.
-As of tomorrow Zoey and I are at 30 weeks!!

There is so much more...but that's a good start, right?? : )

Disney Magic

Our flight to Disney World leaves tomorrow at noon!! We are all going for a TOPS convention...and of course some vacation time as well. I haven't been to Disney since my summer after high school so I'm excited : )

As of today Zoey and I are at 25 weeks! Had a check-up and ultrasound on Wednesday and everything looked great. So blessed!!

Half-way!!

As of yesterday I am 20 weeks along. That's longer than a school semester. Geez!!

Baby Girl!!

Yes, this post is a little late. Sorry :) But we are having a girl! (Just like we thought) ; ) So excited. Little miss Zoey Grace should make her debut somewhere around June 4th and I just can't wait to meet her!!

Can't wait!!!

SO EXCITED ABOUT TOMORROW!!

Other than that, Josh and I are still feeling a little under the weather. Got a yucky cold. But that's okay, it should still be a good week :)

I think all the financing got settled for the land and house we are buying out in Crosby. Now to just get the sale of our condo finalized...

So overdue

In case you didn't already know... WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!

I'm 18 weeks pregnant, so we've obviously known awhile but I have been so sick that blogging was on the very bottom of my list. But I am SO thankful that recently I started to feel human again!

This Tuesday we find out the sex of our baby and I am so excited! It will be so fun to finally know and be able to start planning more.

In non-baby realted news...we had an offer on our condo so hopefully all will go well with that! Fingers crossed!!
